My Flower Fairies

They are a reinterpretation of the awesome Flower Fairies by Mary Cicely Barker.

I created these characters for some educational books. I had great fun with that!
There are robbers, liars, businessmen and women, lawyers, eminent scientists, a suspicious housekeeper, farmers, art traders and so on. If I'll manage to find the list of them all I'll post it, so you could try and guess who's who.

The giant fairy found out that her job wasn't so bad.
And while sitting, she could do the two things she liked most: reading and making clothes.
La fata gigante scoprì che il suo lavoro non era così male.
E mentre stava seduta poteva fare quello che più le piaceva, che erano due cose: leggere e fare vestiti.

... and when Hanna showed the little box full of pearls, she snatched it out of her hands and kept it for herself.
Then she ordered her other two daughters to go to the lake and to throw their needles into it.
... e quando Hanna mostrò la scatolina piena di perle, gliela strappò di mano e la tenne per sé.
Poi ordinò alle altre due figlie di andare al lago e gettare dentro i loro aghi.

... dove li mette, tutti questi denti? Cosa se ne fa?
Prima o poi anche l'armadio non basta piu': e allora?
... Il lumacone le disse: "Capifco, fì fì, e' un problema ferio"
